After all this time, I finally have published my own game. It is NOT the game I talked about last year. It is the game nobody asked for. It really is just… SOLITAIRE.
Sounds boring? Yes, it is. It’s Solitaire after all. Except for one little thing. And that is the artwork, which is very much TGS themed and shows many people you may know from around here in various states of sinkiness. And if that by itself is not kinky enough for you, you can also select an alternative deck of cards with them wearing a lot less. And by “a lot less” I mean nothing at all.
In case you are wondering why I chose to make this card game rather than keep working on the game I had actually announced. Well, … good question. Somehow this seemed like a good way to get to know the game engine I am using (Godot) and get some results quickly. And after all, a game like solitaire should be easy to implemented. It is a low hanging fruit for starters, right? Or so I thought. As it usually turns out with these kinds of projects it turned out to be a whole lot more work than anticipated. But I still enjoyed making it and am pleased to be able to share it today. Have fun killing time and enjoy the artwork on those cards!
