The difficulty levels were adjusted to match the classic Minesweeper game. That means easy is 9x9 fields with 9 bogs, normal is 16x16 fields with 40 bogs, and hard is 30x16 fields with 99 bogs.
There is a new unlockable character. You might have guessed she was coming from the splash screen. Danica can now be unlocked in the Northern Peat bogs. To accomplish that you need to win with Tabitha in that same location on normal difficulty. Of course you need to unlock Tabitha there first to even get to that.
And because you should not have to unlock the same content over and over again, unlocks (or actually the unlock code) are now automatically saved. This works on your local system or in the browser (as long as you do not clear the local browser storage). If you ever wish to switch to a different device or platform, you can transfer your progress by copying the unlock code and pasting it into the input field on your new system.
And lastly, there were some UI layout changes to make things a little less cluttered and free some space for the new title banner at the top.
