The TGS research department deserves some credit for making this all possible. Helen and Burt have created a system to detect nearby bogs which should be really useful to improve safety around here. The Bog Detector (Beta v0.1.3) however cannot tell you exactly where the bogs are. It can only give you the number of bogs within a certain radius. This is due to technological limitations that our researchers tried to explain to me, but because my understanding of quantum physics is rather limited I am not going to even try and reproduce that explanation here. I can only tell you that it seems to work, and that they managed to make it into an app that can be installed on a smartphone somehow.
Anyway, I just thought this was a good time to tell you about the Bog Detector app because in Bogsweeper 0.4 you can see that Tabitha has brought her mobile phone. Any now you know why. And this also means that the game now comes with some more art.
Also, if you enjoy seeing Tabitha sink into a bog, then the game now rewards you for failing. That somehow seems wrong.
