In the past I had my bathtub filled with some nice peat, so I could enjoy taking a relaxing private dip in it. I could also imagine that it was deep and let myself submerge completely in it, pretending that it was not just a regular shallow tub. Those times may be gone now. A while ago I tasked Sandra to replace the tub in my bathroom with a deeper one. I told her to make it as deep as possible, then fill it up with peat again. And I instructed her NOT to tell me its new depth. She did ask me if I am sure that this is what I want. And yes, I am.
Now the work is finally done. You can see me in the latest gallery called Deeper Than It Looks as I give it a first try. I am not going to pretend this time. I will just step in and test the new bathtub’s depth by letting myself sink into it with my feet straight down. Until I touch the bottom or go under, whichever comes first. :)
