After yesterday’s anticlimactic performance by her boyfriend, I had little hope that Amy would fare much better.
This blonde girl appears cute and all, but she does not give the impression of someone who is into sports or any kind of physical challenge such as this. I was quite surprised to see her sort of run across the surface with her feet barely sinking into it.
That was kind of what I had tried to do, except I had failed quite miserably at it.
Amy in the Little Pit of Doom
When she was at the center of the pit, her steps slowed a little and then came to an abrupt halt. Both her legs had become trapped, but she had already made it farther
than anyone else. The edge of the pit was not that far away anymore. She somehow managed to lift up one leg for one last step. Then she leaned forward, hands digging into the surface, to drag herself forward a little more. Amy sank to her hips, but solid
ground was within her reach. Her fingers clawed and dug into it and she pulled herself forward. And yes, she kept going and eventually pulled herself free without help from anyone. Though she was also a little
embarrassed to discover that her bikini bottoms had not made it out. Tara helped retrieve those, but Amy was nevertheless victorious.
She is the first to make it across. She showed us how it is done.
