Thanks to the tireless efforts of our R&D dapartment, what initially started out as a joke of mine, is now a reality. As of right now TGS has the world’s first working Quicksand Clock.
It took a lot of experimentation with various types of quicksand to create substances with consistent, predictable sinking speed that are suitable this type of application. Helen spent a lot of time sinking into various slow-sand mixtures that Burt had prepared over the last couple of months. On the bright side she was able to catch up on reading all those science magazines while these experiments were conducted. Enjoy this new way of keeping track of time!
